Luna USA (“Luna USA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled responsibly and securely. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you access or use the Luna USA mobile application, website, or related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT. Luna USA may collect various types of information from users of the Platform, including the following categories:
(a) Personal Information. Information that identifies or relates to an individual user, such as name, email address, phone number, and account profile information.
(b) Booking Information. Information relating to services requested or scheduled through the Platform, including selected services, appointment times, service location, and booking history.
(c) Payment Information. Information necessary to process payments associated with bookings made through the Platform. Payment transactions are processed by secure third-party payment processors, and Luna USA does not directly collect, process, or retain full payment card information.
(d) Device and Usage Information. Information relating to the device and technology used to access the Platform, such as IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, and usage data relating to how users interact with the Platform, including data used for app performance monitoring and analytics.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION. Luna USA may use the information collected through the Platform for purposes including:
(a) facilitating bookings and coordinating services between customers and Service Providers;
(b) communicating with users regarding bookings, updates, service notifications, and customer support requests;
(c) improving the functionality, performance, and user experience of the Platform;
(d) processing payments and maintaining transaction records;
(e) detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud, misuse, or unauthorized activities; and
(f) complying with applicable legal obligations and enforcing Luna USA’s Terms of Service.
3. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION. Luna USA does not sell or rent users’ personal information to third parties.
Luna USA may share information in the following circumstances:
(a) With Service Providers. Information necessary to fulfill a booking may be shared with the Service Provider assigned to perform the requested services.
(b) With Third-Party Service Providers. Luna USA may share information with trusted third-party vendors that assist in operating the Platform, such as payment processors, technology service providers, analytics providers, and hosting providers.
(c) Legal Requirements. Luna USA may disclose personal information if required to do so by applicable law, regulation, legal process, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or if Luna USA believes in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (i) comply with legal obligations, (ii) enforce these Terms or other agreements, or (iii) protect the rights, property, or safety of Luna USA, its users, or the public.
4. YOUR RIGHTS. Depending on applicable law and the functionality of the Platform, users may have the rights to access, correct, or update certain personal information associated with their account through the Platform.
Users may also request the deletion of personal information held by Luna USA, subject to applicable legal, contractual, or record-keeping obligations.
In addition, users may opt out of receiving promotional or marketing communications from Luna USA at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in such communications or by adjusting account settings where available.
5. DATA SECURITY. Luna USA implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no system of data transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, Luna USA cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or through the Platform.
6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY. The Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of twenty-one (21), and Luna USA does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of twenty-one.
If Luna USA becomes aware that personal information has been collected from an individual under the age of twenty-one without appropriate consent, Luna USA will take reasonable steps to delete such information.
7. DATA RETENTION. Luna USA retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
(a) provide and facilitate services through the Platform;
(b) maintain business, financial, and transaction records;
(c) comply with applicable legal obligations; and
(d) resolve disputes and enforce Luna USA’s Terms of Service or other agreements.
When personal information is no longer required for these purposes, Luna USA will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify such information, subject to any applicable legal obligations requiring continued retention.
8. COOKIES AND TRACKING. Luna USA may use cookies to enhance user experience, monitor Platform performance, and support analytics.
Cookies are small data files that may include an anonymous unique identifier and are stored on a user’s device when accessing the Platform. These technologies help the Platform recognize user preferences and analyze usage patterns.
Users may instruct their browser or device settings to refuse cookies or to customize cookie preferences. However, if cookies are disabled, certain features or portions of the Platform may not function properly.
9. THIRD PARTY LINKS. The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services, including payment processors or social media platforms. This Privacy Policy does not apply to such third parties, and Luna USA is not responsible for the content, policies, or privacy practices of any third-party services. 10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. Luna USA may revise or update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date above will be revised accordingly.
Continued use of the Platform after any such changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
